MARKETING MANAGER – full time – closing date 19th February 2018

All members of our small but growing team need to be adaptable, multi-skilled and flexible to be able to support each other in a fast paced, growing business.

Our new Marketing Manager will develop and implement a marketing plan, and take responsibility for:

  • Brand and product brands
  • The Customer Journey
  • Client and market data & knowledge
  • Communications

The role will include:

Maintain and elevate the Logovisual and product brands

Website updates, project write ups, liaising with clients for approvals and testimonials

Ongoing SEO

Social media updates- Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn etc.

Proactive follow up to seek feedback on enquiries, proposals, projects

Recording and feeding back to team on client perceptions/ inputting to product development and website

Gathering and recording intelligence about referring sources, won and lost reasons

Reporting against targets, making recommendations, adapting the plan accordingly

Compiling and maintaining list of key audiences and applicable competitors, linkedin groups, trade associations, events

Identifying keywords, generating copy and feeding into product development

Maintaining presence in associations, directories and listings, trade and tender portals and where appropriate attending trade shows and events

Advertising and adwords in accordance with agreed objectives

Managing a Calendar of campaigns

Developing and refine targets for campaigns and new list generation

Developing copy and outsource production of mailings

Manage timely sending of mailings and a coordinated plan for optimising campaign effectiveness

Proactive calls and follow ups of new leads and proposals

Input enquiry info to enquiries board and Act! keep up to date as status changes

Ensure quotations templates/formats are up to date and reviewed regularly

pass on enquiries to account managers as required

Use Act to Keep account managers updated on pipeline sales – possibles/ likely’s, timeframes

Manage contact details on Act! and produce relevant lists for campaigns

Reporting against targets and adapt plans accordingly

As a key member of a small team, you will need to develop a good understanding of every aspect of the business and be adaptable and willing to get involved and help out where needs arise.


£24,000.00 to £30,000.00 /year subject to qualifications and experience.

You will have excellent organisation, communication and IT skills. Be thorough, dependable, show attention to detail, have a can-do attitude, a quality Focus, a customer Focus, be multi-tasking, have data entry skills, be a team player and have excellent literacy and telephone skills.


At least 3 years prior experience in a mid to senior level marketing position is essential.

Experience in using WordPress, a contact management system, ideally ACT!, Swiftpage or MailChimp and Sage 50 Accounts highly desirable, as is using social media in a B to B context
