We are proud to introduce Hub by Logovisual. Developed in collaboration with workplace technology consultants Inconosis and Alto Technologies, Hub is a smart meeting table that truly integrates technology and provides the perfect collaborative space, with seamless functionality to support productive team discussions. A custom one-off piece, you can see it in the Collaboration Zone of The Workplace Event.
On the face of it, there is nothing especially radical about Hub. In workplace furniture catalogues from all the main players, you can find a workbench attached to a freestanding wall at one end, with a screen on it. These tech-integrated meeting tables have become a fundamental requirement in many workspaces, providing a place for ad-hoc and collaborative gatherings in open-plan spaces.
“Understanding how the latest AV and UC technologies function, alongside the practical requirements of room users, has been a driving principle behind the creation of Logovisual’s Hub. Technologies such as Ochno, which use a single cable per user to deliver charging, presentation, and BYOD conferencing can be natively integrated.”
– John Vickerage, Managing Director, Alto Technologies

Hub by Logovisual is a smart meeting table that truly integrates technology. Users can connect to the discreet, retractable cables for straightforward, intuitive screen sharing, video conferencing and charging. Wires, hardware and screens are all neatly housed and readily accessible for changes and upgrades as required.
Any of the smart conference tables on the market do a decent job of allowing groups of people to sit or stand around a table, with access to a meeting bar and screen. Where these AV tables often fall short is that furniture designers tend to have little appreciation of the technology that might be need to be accommodated in order to make them into a real workspace asset.
With Hub, however, we have called on our extensive experience in designing and building furniture around tech so that its truly integrated, rather than adding tech to the outside in the conventional after-thought kind of way that might be more efficient as a standardised furniture solution, but may in practice make it less ideal as a tech-enabled solution.
Hub simplifies life for tech integrators. Wires, devices, boxes and screens are all neatly housed and readily accessible for changes and upgrades as required.
“The furniture design ensures that the technology users do not need to see remains discreetly concealed, while still being easily accessible for installation and support teams.”
– John Vickerage, Managing Director, Alto Technologies
Every Hub is made to order, allowing colours and finishes consistent with the workplace environment. Additional functionality or tech can also be added so it’s by no means a compromise on quality and aesthetic either. Hub can be pushed against a wall or freestanding, with an acoustic treatment or whiteboard on the back of the screen. In addition, its style has unmistakable parallels with Logovisual’s ThinkingWall range, which means curves, whiteboards and storage elements can be used in conjunction with Hub to create a complete collaboration environment.
