Bespoke mobile AV wall making the right first impression at Curve Games
Moving into their magnificent new Clerkenwell loft office, Curve Games wanted to create an impactful first impression as staff and visitors enter the space.
What better way to do this than with a big screen showing showreels of their latest titles?
Curve Games is a London-based indie games publisher, delivering original, imaginative titles that delight players around the world on PC, Xbox, Playstation and Nintendo.
COO Susan Planck wanted a solution that could also double as a Teams room for hybrid team meetings, as well as being easy to move to different locations in the office. In order to utilise its mobility, and constrained by a lack of mains power in the middle of the space they wanted it to run on battery power for the majority of the time.
Searching the internet, they came across the ThinkingWall Cupboard Combi AV, and approached Logovisual to see if we could create a bespoke version that met their needs.
Following a brief site visit, through correspondence we arrived at a specification, integrating a Neat Bar pro they were bringing from their old office, and a 65” LG screen.
We increased the size of the standard Combi AV from 1200mm to 1800mm wide to accommodate the screen; changed the standard white cupboards and steel frame to charcoal; and colour matched the acoustic panels to create a very sleek stealth-looking setup.
Under the hood, a media player enables the Curve team to easily add and change content. We also added a massive 1070kwh battery to give them a good 6hrs+ of runtime, with charging easily facilitated with a detaching fly lead.
